GENESSA -- SWEEPSTAKES!
Sometimes sweepstakes are referred to as contests, but they're not the same thing. Unlike contests, which rely on someone's assessment of your talent or achievement in a specified area, in sweepstakes your chances of winning are literally the luck of the draw. The qualifications for a sweepstakes might include, for example, entrants of a certain age, or residents of a certain geographical area. A contest might or might not also have such restrictions but it also requires the entrant to do something: write an essay or a song, submit a photograph, produce a video, cook a dish, or do some other specified task. Needless to say, there are a lot more sweepstakes out there than contests, and on this page you will find sweepstakes, for which it is easier to qualify than for contests, and which require very little of you except a snippet of personal information (so you can be contacted if you win) and a bit of optimism!
