Health... both Lady G and Lionheart wish they had more of that! They try to take care of what little they have.
Beauty... is skin deep, in the eye of the beholder, and of course ephemeral. Health is more beautiful than lack thereof; feeling good looks good.
Neither of us smokes, and if you're interested in quitting, here is some information you may find useful.
To Lionheart's surprise, Lady G almost never wears makeup. This may have something to do with the fact that Lady G's mother wore a lot of makeup and strongly urged teenaged G to do so, too. What does a teen do when you make a demand? On the other hand, she has her favorite scents (despite her asthma) which include the less citrusy vetivers and anything jasmine.
Having systemic lupus erythematosus, Lady G, despite not covering up her butterfly rash, does endeavor to keep her skin soft and healthy overall, despite the more successful attempts of Minnesota winters to foil her endeavors. Lionheart uses gallons of skin cream in winter. The couple agrees that aloe is a substance of remarkable healing and moisturizing power.
