WELCOME TO GENESSA! What is GENESSA? GENESSA is a one-stop shopping mall but it's also a place to read, for free, many of the writings of one of GENESSA's partners, Lady G. Some of the writings stand alone, and some introduce, however obliquely, a category of product sold in this mall (which doesn't mean the writings are about selling stuff, or buying stuff). Don't want to shop? Go to a product page and read an essay anyway! Don't want to read? Go shopping! Want to read some of Lady G's fiction and nonfiction that is not on a product page? All of it can be reached from the BOOKS page (always in every page's index), and some (such as the BLOG) from the index as well. How does supporting our sponsors help us to maintain this site? Simple: you shop, we get a tiny commission, Lady G is able to take the time to write. You can shop here for pretty much anything you could want to buy or hire online. Notice that some of the categories link nowhere at this time. (Whole bunches of them link very much somewhere!) This is due to our exciting and somewhat pokey remodeling, a lot of THAT thanks to AOL's suddenly discontinuing its FTP service in October 2008, and USAPages' mysterious failure to renew its domain registration in April 2009, after we had already reconstructed most of the site there! Check back OFTEN to see what new goodies and writings we've got for you. We estimate (conservatively) at least a page a week. Because we have so many pages, when we add a new page it doesn't always get added to the index for every other page right away. It takes time. Therefore, please be assured that the index in the lefthand column of this page at the very least will be completely up to date! If you found a page and then lost it, come back home (here) and look in this index. It may be here, or it may link from something that's here, but it's not lost. Now, in addition to our categories on the left, we have contact information and some featured sponsors on the right, along with a link to our FAQ. WE WELCOME INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS! Most of our sponsors are American but we do our best not only to present sponsors who ship to other countries, but to offer sponsors who are themselves in other countries, sometimes advertising in languages other than English. This isn't easy; most non-American sponsors don't want affiliates in the United States, believing that only Americans visit American websites. This isn't even remotely true! The web is a truly international entity. Be that as it may, we will do our best to offer as much as possible to ALL of our visitors. Searching for information on the web? You can even do that from here (we are working, too, on a pageful of search engines for you). GENESSA does not at this time sell anything directly. All sales are through sponsors, and the sponsors are in charge of fulfillment, as well as any questions you may have about products, service, or any other thing relating to a sale. We choose our sponsors carefully but if we've goofed, we want to know about it, and correct it. As noted, not all of GENESSA's pages exist to sell you somethingm and even those that do also offer good reading, some good free information and hopefully some good advice as well.
