GENESSA -- CHOCOLATE! Lady G didn't eat chocolate for over a decade. Why? Migraines! Any form of caffeine, even the kind found in chocolate (which isn't exactly caffeine but is quite similar), would trigger horrendous, disabling headaches, accompanied by near-blindness. Then, while in Japan, Lady G discovered that Japanese chocolate was devoid of the substance that caused her pain. It was, alas, also devoid of true chocolate flavor, but one makes compromises in life. lady G began to eat chocolate again. One day, Lady G had some particularly rich, luscious dark chocolate and, to her shock, soon found her vision tunneling, and knew a migraine was chugging her way. Fortunately, by that time she had discovered that massive doses of ibuprofen would siderail the headache, and even the amount of vitamin C to be found in a small glass of orange juice could divert the visual disturbances. What are we trying to do, anyway... turn you off chocolate? Never! First of all, Lady G somehow got herself to the point of being able to eat chocolate and even drink coffee without being punished by a migraine. (It's called "getting older.") Secondly, Lionheart, along with most people in the western world, has always been able to consume as much of this yummy stuff as he likes with no headaches whatsoever. And third, chocolate increases your brain's production of endorphins, which elevate your mood; it has a mild bronchodilating effect due to the aforementioned caffeine-like ingredient; and it TASTES FABULOUS!
