GENESSA -- AWARDS
WE BESTOW!
GENESSA's Lady G taught English and more subversive subjects in universities, junior colleges, high schools, junior high schools, cultural centers and private homes in Japan for a decade. One evening, at a cultural center in Kasugai, a suburb of Nagoya, she asked her adult students a question that wasn't in the lesson plan: why did so many Japanese people drive white cars?
"We like white cars!" everyone said.
"Why do you like white cars?"
One student purported to know the answer: "Because white cars have higher resale value."
"Why would white cars have higher resale value?"
"Because we like white cars!" came the triumphant answer.
GENESSA therefore now wishes to bestow upon deserving puncturers of inflated circular logic, and busters of bad brainage, the "White Car Award" for which you may apply by email, with WHITE CAR AWARD in the subject line, and the URL of the nominated page, along with a short explanation of why the page is deserving, in the body of the email.

In addition, GENESSA would like to bestow upon worthy sites which explain evolution in ways that ordinary people can understand, without purveying any of the myths about evolution (such as that humans descended from monkeys, or that evolution is fine for wee little stuff but doesn't work for us lofty human folk, or that evolution is "only" a "theory"), the "Darwin's Best Friend Award."
