GENESSA -- ASTROLOGY!
Neither Lady G nor Lionheart is a practitioner of astrology, preferring, in fact, astronomy, and yet Lady G, for one, is fascinated by the subject. Of all the things she is -- woman, Jew, lupique, American, the list goes on and on -- the only thing she is of which she is typical is the one in which she places no serious store: Lady G is without a doubt the most typical Piscean you will ever meet!
She is sensitive, artistic, dreamy (see GENESSA's DREAMS page), creative, insecure, emotional, with a slightly addictive personality... how did this happen?
Of course there are two aspects to western astrology (Chinese astrology, about which Lady G and Lionheart know very, very little, has at least the first aspect). One is the expectation of certain personality traits and compatibilities based on one's sun sign alone or on a fuller astrological reading. This is iffy enough (despite Lady G's fitting so well into her astrological niche) but even iffier is the predictive aspect, such as you may see in a daily, weekly or monthly horoscope: you will run into conflict today with a Scorpio but a Leo will help you out; avoid traveling after dark." No two such sets of predictions ever agree and by and large tend to be so general as to apply to most people regardless of their sun signs. Still, it's fun isn't it, and spooky when any of it comes true!
