Arts fine and funky, photographic and fantastic, visual and tactile, all intrigue GENESSA. Lady G used to paint a bit. She even drew the cover art of her first chapbook of poetry, Naked on the page (see BOOKS). She also dabbles in photography. But some of the folks on these pages have REAL talent!
Lady G's story of an artist overcoming -- um, something; you'll have to find out what! -- is entitled The Surprise and can also be found at The nursing home.
She has also written an article about a museum visit, and this can be found at memoirs: Art and Soutine.
The above bit of wallpaper (not computer wallpaper, a reproduction of REAL wallpaper) links to the William Morris Gallery. Lady G admires the designs of the late William Morris, 19th-century Marxist and wallpaper designer, so much that she practically cajoles you to visit the Gallery's website whatever your politics may be. It's better than you can know, Morris being a true artist, working and commissioning work in media including not only wallpaper but textiles, stained glass, handpainted ceramic tile, etc. On this site you can even download some free William Morris (what else?) wallpaper!
