The most important question you will ever answer
-Where will you go when you die?
This page is for those who are looking for answers. You may have come from an abusive family, or a neglectful one.
You may be wondering if anyone cares. You may have too many people who say they care, but none that truely do.
Whatever your problem, Jesus is the solution. He's the father, friend, and peace you've been looking for.
If you want the peace and love Jesus can offer, keep reading.
There are four steps to receive God's gift of love for you:
1. You must recognize your own failures and mistakes. These failures are called "sin."
-Romans 3:23 says "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
2. You must recognize that the penalty for sin is death.
-Romans 6:23 says "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
We cannot save ourselves from this fate. So, God sent his only son Jesus to pay the penalty for our sins.
3. You must believe in your heart that Jesus died for your sins and that He rose from the dead after three days.
--Romans 5:8 says "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
-Luke 24:1-8 records two angels saying "Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen!"
4. Finally, you must turn from your sins and be baptized in Jesus's name.
-Acts 2: 37,38 says "When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, 'Brothers, what shall we do?' Peter replied, 'Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."
If you want to take these steps today, please e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org so I can congratulate a new brother or sister in Christ.
Once you are a Christian, you have a responsibility to tell others about Jesus.
-In Matthew 28:19,20, Jesus says "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you."
Fortunately, you are not alone in this endeavor. God gives you many promises in the bible.
1. You are forgiven and no longer condemned.
-Romans 8:1 says "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus."
2. God will never leave you.
-Hebrews 13:5 says "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."
3. Nothing can ever separate you from his love.
-Romans 8:38 says "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
4. God has placed a piece of himself, called the Holy Spirit, within you.
-Ephesians 1:13, 14 says "Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's posession-to the praise of his glory."
5. You are a child of God.
-Romans 8:15-17 says "For you did not receice a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the spirit of sonship. . . Now if we are children, then we are heirs-heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ."
6. Pay attention to this one.
You have eternal life in heaven!!!!!!
