GRAND TRUNK STEAM EXCURSION
These photos were shot on Sunday, May 5, 1968 of former Grand Trunk Western 4-6-2 Pacific 5629 heading up an excursion run from Chicago's Dearborn Station to South Bend, Indiana via Grand Trunk mainline. These pics were taken at Griffith, Indiana as the newly refurbished engine stops for revenue passengers. Many former Monon coaches were observed in 5629's consist that day. . .
