Morcon Ingredients:

  • 3 lbs. Boneless Sirloin Steak, sliced 3/4" thick
  • 2 Tbsps. Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 Soy Sauce
  • 4 pcs. Vienna Sausage, cut into 4 diagonally
  • 3 pcs. sweet gherkins or or 6 pcs. sweet pickles, cut into thin long strips
  • 2 hard boil eggs, sliced
  • 1/4 lb. Cheddar Cheese, Cut into long strips
  • 4 slice Bacon
  • 2 tbsps. Flour
  • 1/4 Cup Oil
  • 3 pcs. Bouillon Cubes dissolved in 3 Cups Boiling Water
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Marinate beef in lemon juice and soy sauce. Add fresh ground pepper. Set aside for an hour. Arrange strips of vienna sausage, sweet gherkins,eggs, cheese, carrot and bacon on marinated beef. Roll neatly and tie with string. Dredge the rolled beef in flour then brown in hot oil. Transfer to a big sauce pan. Add bouillon in water. Cover and simmmer until beef is tender. Slice morcon, arrange in a platter. Pour sauce on top, garnish with fresh parsley. Serve hot!
